Despite a revolving door of members, with Weatherman as the sole constant, the classic lineup widely regarded as the band's peak consists of Weatherman, bassist Mike Dean, drummer Reed Mullin, and vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan, who joined in 1989. This lineup was responsible for their most successful and influential albums. After a hiatus beginning in 2006, the band returned and eventually reunited with Keenan in 2015, continuing to produce new music.
