The onboard sequencer is surprisingly powerful, but its interface relies on function buttons and a small LCD. The manual provides step-by-step instructions for:
Locate the dial on the rear/under panel; if unresponsive, inspect the LCD ribbon cables. Dead Keys or Unresponsive Velocity Dust build-up under the keybed rubber contact strips.
If your model has a floppy drive, you can load new patches and rhythms. Note that there are two versions of the WS1; you cannot retroactively add a floppy drive to the non-disk version.
